17,120 rated or chosen profiles from 1,712 respondents, in up to 5 tasks of 2 profiles varying on 6 attributes.

| Description | German voting-eligible adults from the Payback Online Panel, May/June 2018 (exact-replication arm, n=1,712), chose between 5 pairs of fictitious candidates without party labels, varying positions on refugees, the EU, taxes on the rich and free trade and a first and second policy priority. Outcome: which candidate they would rather vote for. |

| Randomization restrictions | yes (stated by the source): first and second priority drawn from the same list and cannot be identical |
| Task order | inferred from row order |
| Profile position | recorded in the deposit |
Because the attribute levels were not randomized independently, an estimator has to account for the restriction; a plain difference in means across levels can mislead. Task order or profile position was rebuilt from row order; analyses of position or task order should leave it out.
