About this table

DescriptionTask Demand Scale (TDS): 4 items on the last work activity (had to do too much, work very fast, do multiple things at once, work very hard), 1-7 from not at all to very much. Asked at prompts 2-7 only. 174 people. Italian office workers, three workdays (Mon/Wed/Fri), seven prompts/day 9:15-18:15; wave is each person's answered-prompt number in time order (shared across the three menghini_2023 tables), date is Unix time (source stamps are Italian local time, converted). Covariates: cov_gender, cov_age, cov_work_hours, cov_job_sector (from the OSF processed file).

Codebook

This codebook is reconstructed by the IRW from the IRW data standard and the script that built it, menghini_2023_esm_workstress.py. It is our best reading, not the source’s own codebook, and it may contain mistakes. Where the two disagree, the source data are the authority. If you find an error, please tell us.
