About this table

DescriptionZambian phone-survey respondents (ZEPS wave 2, July-August 2021, n = 1,525) each heard one vignette in which a local authority urges them to campaign for or attend a meeting with a parliamentary candidate, with 11 randomized factors (candidate co-ethnicity, co-partisanship, gender, origin, residence; leader and community monitoring; friends joining; payment); they rated their likelihood of participating, expected sanctions, enjoyment and whether the authority would back the candidate.
