enem_2022_1mil_lc

40,000,000 responses from 1,000,000 respondents to 84 items.

A version of this table that keeps the option each respondent chose is enem_2022_1mil_lc_nom.

One of 104 tables from the same source; this one measures ENEM Language Proficiency Assessment (2022). The others are listed under Related tables.

About this table

DescriptionLanguage and codes portion of the 2022 Brazilian ENEM, one-million-person subsample, restricted to main-application items only (issue #955). Binary scored (0/1). LC keeps BOTH languages: each student answered only English OR Spanish foreign-language items, resolved via TP_LINGUA (sparse by design, density ~0.9 -- issue #723).

Codebook

This codebook is reconstructed by the IRW from the IRW data standard and the script that built it, enem_2022.R. It is our best reading, not the source’s own codebook, and it may contain mistakes. Where the two disagree, the source data are the authority. If you find an error, please tell us.
