70,016 responses from 129 respondents to 6 items.
| Description | Momentary mood in an experience sampling study within a randomised trial of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for residual depression (Netherlands). Six 7-point items: I feel cheerful / relaxed / fearful / sad, I am worrying (1 to 7), and pleasantness of the most important event since the previous beep (-3 to +3). 129 people, 10 beeps/day in a six-day baseline and a six-day period 2-3 months later; wave = period*100 + (day-1)*10 + beep (1-100 baseline, 101-200 follow-up). treat = 1 for MBCT (n=63), 0 for waiting list (n=66). No timestamps, so no date. |

This codebook is reconstructed by the IRW from the IRW data standard and the script that built it, bringmann_2013_esm_mood.py. It is our best reading, not the source’s own codebook, and it may contain mistakes. Where the two disagree, the source data are the authority. If you find an error, please tell us.
| Column | What it is | Source column |
|---|---|---|
| IRW standard columns | ||
id | IRW standard Identifier for the focal unit being measured — typically a person, but sometimes another entity (e.g., a word in a lexical task). | made in the build script |
item | IRW standard Item identifier. | made in the build script |
resp | IRW standard Response value. | made in the build script |
treat | IRW standard Treatment group assignment in experimental studies. | therapy |
wave | IRW standard Longitudinal wave indicator. | made in the build script |
What item codes and covariate values stand for is in the codebook released with the source data.
