About this table

DescriptionMexican adults (Pollfish online survey, 2021-22; n = 2,401) judged newly recruited municipal police officers whose gender (female or unstated) and previous background (soldiers, private security, self-defence forces, human-rights activists, return migrants or unstated) were randomized: faith that they would catch criminals and likelihood of misconduct (experiment 6).
