11,128 rated or chosen profiles from 616 respondents, in up to 10 tasks of 2 profiles varying on 6 attributes.
| Description | Health and medical researchers (online survey, 2024, n = 616) chose between two hypothetical journals in 10 sets (8 design sets, a dominant set and a retest) varying impact factor, formatting, decision speed, review quality, the editor's acceptance condition and usefulness for promotion. |

| Randomization restrictions | yes (stated by the source): fixed blocked designs (Ngene efficient designs, 3 blocks x 8 choice sets, two designs, plus one dominant set); only the designed combinations occur; in design 1 the two journals never share a level, in design 2 they sometimes do |
| Task order | inferred from row order |
| Profile position | recorded in the deposit |
Because the attribute levels were not randomized independently, an estimator has to account for the restriction; a plain difference in means across levels can mislead. Task order or profile position was rebuilt from row order; analyses of position or task order should leave it out.

The layout (one row per respondent, task and profile; choice/rating outcomes; attr_ columns holding each attribute level as displayed) is defined in the IRW conjoint standard. What the outcomes asked is under Design above.
